Lactation Consultations

During a consultation, your lactation consultant will perform a breast assessment, weigh your baby, assess the baby, and observe you breastfeed. After the consultation, the lactation consultant will give you a care plan, and send a report to your physician and baby's doctor for their records. For more information click here.

Prenatal Consultations
If you have questions or concerns during pregnancy, had difficulty breastfeeding a previous child, have a history of breast surgery, had difficulty getting pregnant, are expecting multiples, have diabetes, thyroid issues, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), have had no breast changes during pregnancy or puberty, or would like some tips on getting breastfeeding off to a great start, you may want schedule a consultation before baby’s arrival.
 
Pre-Adoption or Surrogacy Consultations
Congratulations on your decision to adopt or go through surrogacy. A lactation consultant can meet with you and discuss your feeding options and develop a care plan to develop your milk supply.

 

Breast Pump Rentals

Medical/hospital-grade breast pumps are available for weekly or monthly rentals as needed.

Need help learning how to use your breast pump? In this consultation, we cover your milk expression needs, whether it is how to use your pump, when you will need to express milk based on your unique situation, infant feeding options, checking the breast shield fit, etc.

  • If you think or have been told that your baby has a tongue-tie or lip-tie or restricted frenulum, cleft lip or cleft palate
